Yellowfox was founded over 5 years ago by a group of friends looking for a company to help make a single prototype casing to show investors and sell our idea.
We need the part fast, we needed a CAD file, and we needed it to be cost effective as we would be making lots of changes to the design in the future. Every company we spoke with wanted a full CAD markup and would only make large injection molded runs, as well as taking a months to get us the prototype. This didn't work for us.
We pooled our money and started Yellowfox with the intention of finding a way to use 3D printers to build real world, full sized products and prototypes, not just toys and trinkets.
Over 4 years later we've developed techniques found no where else in the market to produces extremely durable, strong, full-sized products from existing materials, cheaply and very, very fast. From engine parts, to bulletproof panels, integrated body wiring, to body panels for heavy equipment, etc, etc.
In 2018 we began making end of life parts for machines in transition of being retrofit or for parts that simply didn't exist any longer. Being a Veteran owned and operated company brought the attention of the Department of Defense and we began working with local resources to bring out skill to market serving our military.
