Is there life after a 3d printer...  No, definitely no.

So I got the printer finished a few days ago and my digital lab turned into this.
That printer has not stopped running in 3 days.  It runs while I'm asleep, it runs all day.  If I'm not designing something I'm painting something.  This thing is friggin' amazing.

For the longest time I've been sitting on a plethora of 3d modeling skills and software.  It's a throwback to when I was in the coding industry in Cali.  I did some work making 3d commercial presentations but there's a caveat to that kind of work.  Basically if the device working modeling doesn't make money then you don't get paid, and if it does make money you still wont get paid.  In short startups try to save a lot of money by not paying anyone.  :P  Get your money up front, that's all I'm sayin'.
Now however I get to use those skills to make so much awesome stuff.  If I can imagine it, I can model it, and if I can model it I can make it.  It's an incredibly complex process, and its pulled on every skill I have, Physics, engineering, coding, digital and analog electronics, CAD design.  Its tough, and I LOVE it.  Ok, that's all for now, back to work :D
